Ditipriya heads the Human Resource Management centre of Breakthrough. She has been instrumental in setting up the HR and Operations division in BT and have taken the organization from 12 members to 65 members. Setting up the Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Mangalore (Karnataka) and Ranchi (Jharkhand) offices, she has conceptualized and set up the project tracing mechanism (MIS system) for BT. She initiated and implemented the Organisational Development process and now in the process of elevating HRM to Strategic HRM that concerns longer-term people issues and macro-concerns about structure, quality, culture, values, commitment and matching resources for future need. A commerce graduate from Calcutta University with almost twenty three years of work experience, she has worked for fourteen years in the corporate sector with organisation like Metlife, DataCore, SITA world Travels. She has been volunteering with Missionaries of Charity and Vivek Chetana in Kolkata but made a complete career shift to the development sector in 2006. Before Breakthrough, she has worked with Haemophilia Federation and Parivar Seva Sanstha. Human rights violation, especially against girls and women have always been a matter of concern for Ditipriya and that’s what drew her to BT. A big fan of edutainment and animation, her spare time is spend on reading anything that is in black & white.
